Daisy & Gian-Carlo's Wedding !!!

Daisy and Gian-Carlo had a wedding day full of surprises. A wedding ceremony that was planned for a beautiful outdoor location was forced indoors due to a very cold and rain filled afternoon. The unofficial slogan of the wedding was “it was meant to be”. When the rain rolled in we just said out loud “it was meant to be”, when it reached zero degrees celsius we looked at each other and said “it was meant to be”. What a great attitude to have, and it made for a wonderful day. The bridal party were a perfect group to have around. They never ran to the bus when the rain came in, they wanted to share every moment of the wedding day. That kind of dedication is what makes for great photos and a very comfortable environment through out the day which lead to a great reception.

The best part of our job is we get to try different ideas out all of the time. In this collage we show great diversity in a young child's personality, and we had a great time photographing it. It is amazing how much you can get by just letting children be themselves.

Interesting side note - It has been suggested that Animal's character was partially inspired by The Who drummer Keith Moon. However, there is no evidence in the original sketches for the character that suggest that he was based on anyone in particular.

Betsy and Dean's Engagement Session!!!

Betsy and Dean travelled all the way from beautiful Kingston to have us photograph their engagement session. You will be seeing plenty more of them later on this year. We had never met before but we hit it off well, just like old friends. Betsy and Dean, it was a pleasure meeting both of you and we look forward to sharing your special day with you.
