Jen & Jeff in "The Window Washer"

We never expected this video to have such an overwhelming response when it was showcased at Jen and Jeff's wedding reception. We hope all of you enjoy it just as much.

Jennifer & Christopher's Engagement in Niagara Falls!

Steve and I went all the way to Niagara Falls to shoot Jennifer and Christopher's engagement. We spent the whole afternoon doing both photo and video for their wedding next September.

The whole time I had those Mastercard commercials on my mind as we all started to gradually annoy one another within the first 10 minutes of our trip.

Total time spent driving - 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Number of times I asked "Are we there yet?" - 27.
Chances Jennifer and Christopher had to kick us out of the car - 12.
Times Steve cried when we drove over a bridge - 2.
People who asked if we were shooting a movie - 6.
Phone calls from George asking if we were coming to work that day - 64.
Times Jennifer and Christopher actually did kick us out of the car - 3
Accepted Apologies - 3
Simpson quotes said - 16 per hour.
Having fun with your clients - Priceless!

Jennifer & Michael's Wedding

Jennifer and Michael came back home for their wedding. All the way from sunny San Diego, California. Like them I would choose Toronto over San Diego.

We had too many great shots to post here, so we added more of them to our website in the feature section. Check it out.

Tammy & Rob's Wedding

Tammy and Rob's wedding will be remembered for a few things. We broke 2 Studio Cabral records on their wedding day that I would like to share. (1) Number of stops at Tim Horton's in one day - 3, we were pretty wired. (2) Number of times we said to one another "It's raining" 435. It rained all day, so much so that it became funny after awhile.

We did manage to get many great shots in, even though mother nature tried her best to stop it. Studio Cabral 1 Mother Nature 0.

Diana & Nelson's Engagement

Avoid Disappointment

In the past few months we have been receiving many phone calls from people who are getting married in 2008 and 2009 who want us to shoot their weddings. Unfortunately they were giving bad news when they found out that their dates are no longer available due to us already being booked. Once again we at Studio Cabral only photograph 2 weddings a day and the popular dates go pretty fast. Our online calendar is updated only 2 months in advance so that is the reason for the confusion with 2008 being completely empty at http://www.studiocabral.com/. If you are decided on any company in the wedding industry, book them as early as you can to avoid disappointment. As a matter of fact get off the computer right now and call them before it's too late.

Diana & Rui's Wedding

Diana and Rui had a very nice intimate wedding that turned out to be one of the craziest of the year. Their party was so crazy that I think the other weddings were stopping by.
This is the reaction I got when I asked Rui if he was ready to get married.
As you can see we weren't the only ones who had a great time. Someone once said that the true measure of courage is an open bar.

Betty & Nick's Wedding

Denisse & Hendryx's Engagement

Our job is one that is truly enjoyable. We hear stories that are so good one day we will write a book. I even have a title "Chris Cabral Shot Me". As we all can figure out Hendryx was named for Jimi Hendryx, his brothers name is Floyd for Pink Floyd. Cool. Their lucky their parents were'nt fans of Queen.

Usually we follow rules, but remember kids it's not breaking the rules if you don't get caught.

Patricia & Filipe's Engagement

Patricia and Filipe will be married next year in June. We had a great time shooting their engagement photos, especially when we started off with some Tim Horton's coffee.
Just in case you all were wondering, she did pick out the outfits the day prior. As Filipe put it, there is no need to argue with your wife/fiance because in the end would you rather be right or happy.

Heather and Jason's wedding

Heather and Jason were married this past Saturday. George and Mark had a great time shooting this wedding.
As you can see these guys are sports fans. So much so that on their honeymoon in San Francisco they will be catching a football game and a baseball game. Those of you who know I am a huge San Francisco 49er fan and when I heard this a cried. Heather must be the perfect woman.

Sandra and David's Wedding

We had a great time this past Saturday at Sandra and David's wedding. Everything was perfect and then we get to Sandra's street and it was closed due to the great past time in Toronto we like to call CONSTRUCTION. But we got through that like it was nothing. Steve worried about that for about 10 minutes but he has an excuse, he's from Montreal.

Their ceremony was early, at 12:00 and that makes for allot of time in the afternoon to photograph which is great. Try different things, like lying in the middle of the street facing on coming traffic. That picture didn't turn out like I planned. I guess I risked my life for nothing.

We have done quite a few weddings in Sandra's family including her sister Lucy and it is really rewarding to share with their family in those special moments.

Sandra and Mark's wedding!

Sandra and Mark came all the way from Calgary to get married back home in the great city of Toronto.

This wedding reminded us of how weddings should be. Laid back and everyone had a good time. Whenever something went wrong it just rolled of there backs.

Outdoor ceremonies are great because even though they are held outside it seems more intimate. At every wedding something happens, this time I almost stepped on a Groundhog. Those bad boys move super fast I couldn't even get a picture of him/her.

Destination Wedding - Negril, Jamaica

We will be in Negril, Jamaica for Norma-Ann's and David's wedding on November 20, 2007 at the fabulous Couples Swept Away resort in Negril, Jamaica. We are really looking forward to this wedding and the only thing that could be better than one wedding in Jamaica is two weddings in Jamaica. So if anyone is getting married in and around the Negril area in Jamaica let us know!

Julie and Mike's wedding!

The whole crew had a great time this past Saturday at Julie and Mike's wedding. Even Steve had a great time, and he never has a great time .HAHA

It rained a bit in the morning and early afternoon and that gave us a little scare. But in the end everything worked out well.
